We think of this as a little felt hat with attitude! Inspired by many historical hats this classic look was designed by Debra. This hat is lightweight and comfortable to wear.
As all of our structured hats the hat block is designed and made by us. We use a durable water resistant felt that once formed over the block will keep its shape.
Although this hat is considered water resistant, We recommend that it not be worn in the rain. This is only the vintage dyed hats, (The black Poe Chapeau hats are colorfast). We custom dye each hat to procure a vintage look, These hats are individually custom hand dyed by us. Therefore no two are identical, each hat is uniquely one of a kind. We specifically chose this technique of dying to produce the vintage look. However since the felt by nature is water resistant, the dyes may not be color fast in the rain.
