The soft-sculpture body
of our
Centaur is made from tapestry fabrics.
The
head and legs are cast resin pieces linked with waxed linen.
They
can be white, as pictured here, or more natural skin tones as shown at
lower right and below.
Our Centaur has 11 strings connected to a
"airplane" style controller. The back leg strings are crossed
which allows the front and rear legs to move in opposition
simply by rocking the
controller from side to side.
