About
Renaissance Faires
Nearly
every major US city has a yearly Renaissance Festival nearby,
some are only for one weekend while others run 7 to 9 consecutive weekends.
Debra Hathaway

of Dragon Wings LLC have shops
at three Renaissance Festivals, in
Maryland, Texas (Scarborough), and Arizona

A Renaissance
Festival is
typically
a reenactment of a 16th century English village
at "Festival
Time" when the King and Queen
have come to visit.
Each Faire has about
a dozen stages on which you may witness sword swallowers, jugglers, music, comedy, Shakespeare, swordplay, jousting,
and
more to celebrate the Royal's yearly visits to their
"summer homes". Many villages celebrate for 7 to 9
weekends (including many three day Holidays) with food, crafts, drink, games, rides, and
some having petting zoos and puppet shows as well.
The
150 to 250 artisans and merchants you will meet are carefully juried in, to
assure quality and craftsmanship. Most of the shop-keepers are
the actual artists that created the wares. Hand-made goods include jewelry, clothing, wood,
leather, and more. Here you will find many unusual items
unavailable in malls, import stores, or catalogues.

At
each site Dragon Wings has a permanent two to three story renaissance style structure,
fully floored,
roofed, and stuccoed in Renaissance style.
